Kenn was raised and worked on a .425 acre family Dairy farm in Sycamore, Ohio. He attended Wynford High School. Kenn was also a member of the Nazareth Lutheran Church. He attended the American School of Auctioneering, and in 1992 became a Licensed Auctioneer. In 1993 Kenn attended Marion Tech, college Real Estate courses. In 1994 he received his Real Estate License. In 1994 he received the C.A.G.A. designation. On February 16, 2005 Kenn received an Associate Degree in Applied Business in Real Estate (A.A.B.) from Hondros College in Westerville, Ohio.
Kenn has been a sales associate of Rindfuss Realty, 122 S. Sandusky Ave., Bucyrus, Ohio since 1995. Conducting a variety of auctions, Real Estate, Personal Property & Charities, and has listed & sold several properties traditionally.
He attends Woodlawn United Methodist Church, Bucyrus Rotary Club, Bucyrus Preservation Society and serves on the Board of Directors for the Bucyrus Rotary Club.
